How this is computed

Link skills only fire between units standing adjacent in the rotation. A card's seven links are worth nothing on their own — only what it shares with the cards beside it. Team-building is a shared-set problem, not a stat problem, which is why the two strongest cards in your box are often the wrong pair.

Every card is scored by links shared with the one you pick, each listed with its effect. The same-type filter keeps the rotation coherent for the leader skill too.

Two caveats. Count is not quality — three shared Ki links are a synergy, three defence links on a card that never gets hit are not. And links have levels: a level-1 link gives a fraction of a level-10 one. Full effect text on the link skills page.
