Following Perseus's beheading of the serpent-haired monster whose Mystic Eyes turned people to stone, two beings were born from her blood. One was the winged horse named Pegasus. The other was a monster holding a golden sword.

When Perseus killed Medusa, two creatures were born from her corpse: one from her neck and the other from her spilled blood. The first was Pegasus. The other was Chrysaor, a monster who was born holding a golden sword. Saber Medusa possesses that very golden sword as her Noble Phantasm, likely as a result of her deep connection with Chrysaor. Chrysaor is the father of the three-headed Geryon, as well as Echidna, who is herself the mother of many Demonic Beasts. Chrysaor is often called the father of monsters. Chrysaor's appearance properties are shrouded in mystery. For her part, Medusa refuses to talk about it. It's unclear whether she simply lacks information because the sword was created after her death, or whether she knows but chooses to keep silent about it. All she does is gaze at the sword she holds as if it were a precious treasure.

Personality (Second, Third Ascension) Her personality isn't much different from the Rider Medusa. She may seem reserved, unfriendly, cold, and aloof, but she is loyal to Master. For the most part, she is indifferent to everyone except Master, though she may on occasion be thoughtful in cases of those she deems not to be her enemies. In consequence of the presence of certain elements of Athena within her, she is generally naive and her demeanor combines her typical demonic coldness with the emotional distance typical of gods. But in truth, all of this is deliberate. She knows very well that if she is not careful, her emotions will come surging to the surface. It is for this reason that she keeps such a tight lid on her emotions. This, of course, and the presence of Athena. Because the scent of Athena is coming from her, she can feel her origin and her own demise at the same time, which irritates her. In other words, there is a part of her that is as young mentally as she appears on the outside. On the other hand, she sometimes demonstrates maternal love for the golden sword she carries. When she is in a good enough mood, she even treats Master with a hint of maternal love (though she isn’t consciously aware of doing so). (First Ascension) Her younger mentality is emphasized, and she seems to wear her heart on her sleeve. She does not use honorifics and is not as tactful in her interactions. In this Ascension, she retains her focus on doing what she sees as her contracted job, though she is more forthcoming with questions and complaints. In her Second and Third Ascensions, that workaholic aspect of her tends to fade considerably. Medusa is not especially sociable and is very clear about who she likes and dislikes, making it difficult for her to form relationships. Her innate maternal instincts haven't changed either. Despite her brusque attitude, she cares about her sword and the monsters born from it. In fact, she may even try to include Master on the list of those deserving her protection if their relationship is sufficiently positive.

Riding Skill: A She is able to freely control all types of beasts and vehicles, with the exception of Phantasmals and Divine Beasts. Because she is a Saber, this Medusa does not possess Bellerophon. Breaker Gorgon: B Self-Seal, Dark Temple. Typically a Noble Phantasm. A nightmare-inducing barrier which also has a sealing effect. It can also be used as a kind of shackle to seal away her own Mystic Eyes. Instead of the blindfold Rider uses, Saber Medusa uses sunglasses or the eaves of a helmet to shield her eyes. Factored Predation (Goddess of War): EX This Medusa bears a shield and armor evocative of a goddess of war. The details are unclear, but according to Chaldea's analysis, this may be the result of her ability to incorporate elements that were related to the cause of her death, similar to the other Medusa wielding an immortal-killing scythe.

『Chrysaor』 Rank: A NP Type: Anti-Army Range: 1 - 40 Maximum Targets: 200 The Monster's Golden Sword. This is the name of the being born from Medusa's blood following her death. It is the being who became the "father of monsters," the origin of numerous Demonic Beasts. When the True Name of the Golden Sword is released, its power is unleashed, incorporating the aspect of "the father of monsters" into its wielder. Consequently, the true value of this sword comes from its ability to produce a monster each time it is swung. Every swing of the sword births various monsters (such as Echidna and Cerberus) from its golden rays, and these monsters obey the wielder's commands as if the golden sword were their father. Otherwise, they simply attack any enemies in the area. These golden monsters will dissipate over time, but since they are also flashes of a sword, they can turn back into the golden magical slash at any time.

With her fate twisted by the gods' own curses, she mourned all she loved as she became a monster. And when a famed hero took her head, her final act as she died was to give birth to two creatures: Pegasus and Chrysaor. One was a celestial horse who flew through the skies. The other was the father of monsters. One was born to unending freedom. One was born to forever continue its lineage. Perhaps this was what the girl, who ended up all alone at the end, truly wanted.
