The protagonist of Fate/EXTRA; an anonymous Master. He was an amnesiac student living in the school building within SE.RA.PH when he was drawn into the Holy Grail War. Knowing only his own name, he made a contract with a Servant and emerged victorious from the Moon Holy Grail War. One of the few cases where the weakest participant grew stronger through battle and defeated the strongest king at the Throne of the Heavens.

He does not speak crudely, preferring rational, considerate language. Not one for small talk, often states his business succinctly after carefully thinking it over.

Personality: Extroverted and proactive. Perhaps because of the ambiguity of his own identity, Hakuno's attention is always directed outward, toward others. Though he is not consciously aware of it, he fundamentally likes people. Even when he was wrestling with the question "Who am I?" he never looked away from the troubles of others. He detests unjust violence and never condones evil. If someone is in trouble or hurt, he will do everything within his power to ensure things work out well for them. Holds conventional values and morals. Though he appears to be a gentle, cool-headed boy to everyone (which is indeed true), inside, he is sensitive and highly emotional. On top of that, he is resilient, possessing the drive to see through what he's decided upon.

Independent Action: EX Although he was summoned as a Servant, he has had a Spirit Origin since before his summoning, so he was already capable of functioning as an independent life form at the moment of his summoning. Does not require magical energy or a keystone anchor to remain in the real world. Code Cast: A A type of magecraft existing within the cyber world. A form of programming technology. He was practically a novice at first, but has now become an exceptional practitioner. Moon Regalia: EX The royal authority granted to the victor of the Holy Grail War. Originally the skill was called Tactical Eye, but after numerous battles, those around him began calling it this. It grants a special attack bonus against all Servant classes except Foreigner.

Sparks Route ∞: B A tactical shift achieved through accelerated thinking, equivalent to stopping time. The culmination of a search for and construction of a comeback move under extreme conditions. Changes the dealt cards as much as magical energy allows. Checkmate Interceptor: EX A boost attack fueled by the Master's own destiny. It blocks the enemy's strongest attack and creates an opportunity for a comeback. The culmination of the Master's experience in the Holy Grail War, following triumph over far superior foes. The moon's victor knows that the moment checkmate is declared is the greatest opportunity to turn the tide of the battle. C³ Punishment: B+ A psychological strike that reads the opponent's mind and shatters it ruthlessly. "That's harassment, not punishment, right?" as BB puts it. Identifies the opponent's secondary attribute (Heaven, Earth, or Human), prepares a corresponding special attack, and deals massive damage with it.
