The knight who holds the second seat at King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. His name: Percival de Galles. He is a faithful knight, though sometimes described as an innocent fool. Percival is an expert spearman, a knight who personally witnessed the miracle of the Holy Grail, and a man of compassion who has saved numerous souls. He bears and protects Longinus, another sacred lance that differs from the one kept by the King of Knights.

Percival is a faithful guardian knight who stands on ceremony. He is also described as innocent. He conducts himself peacefully, without doubt or anger. He dotes on children and animals he has never met, though he is unaware of this habit. During his lifetime, he was often seen standing in the gardens of Camelot with birds perched on his arms and shoulders. In combat, his manner is harsher than usual, but only during combat.

The Holy Grail invited Galahad and Percival to heaven, but holy Longinus was destined to remain upon the earth. The Percival depicted in this story is the Percival who is said to have returned with the sacred lance. The knight Percival also appears in Wagner's final music drama "Parsifal." In the opera, he is depicted as both a pilferer and inheritor of the sacred lance.

Protection of the Holy Grail: A Receives a form of protection due to his deep ties to the Holy Grail, having directly witnessed Galahad's ascension to Heaven. Percival is described as a keeper of the Holy Grail in legends and lore. Guardian Knight (Sacred Lance): B+ A skill that exemplifies Percival's status as a virtuous keeper of the sacred lance. It is superficially similar to the Guardian Knight skill. Light of Salvation: B Radiates a light imbued with defensive and healing effects. This skill represents one of the boons granted by bearing the sacred lance. Its effect is constantly active even without releasing the dual restraints on the lance.

Longinus Count Zero Rank: C+~A+ NP Type: Anti-Fortress Range: 1 – 70 Maximum Targets: 600 Gleaming Lance of Destiny. A sacred lance said to have pierced the chest of Christ. When its true name is released, Longinus manifests the awesome might it displayed in the battle between Sir Balin and King Pellam, becoming a literal anti-fortress Noble Phantasm that can demolish even a royal castle (believed to be Corbinec, the Grail castle). Despite its terrifying destructive power, it also exhibits powers of healing. Longinus has two restraints placed upon it by Galahad and Balin. These can be considered a reduced version of the Thirteen Seals of Rhongoymyniad (as well as the sacred sword Excalibur wielded by King Arthur from a different world).

Percival is good at taking care of people. He especially likes to fuss over his juniors. This includes his Master, as well. He has a heartfelt desire to protect and nurture the youth so that they may grow into great people. During his time on the Round Table, he doted on the young Gareth, Squire Bors, Lancelot's son Galahad, and others. "Sir Percival is more of a brother to me than my actual brothers," beamed Gareth, one day. After her death, Percival heard what she had said about him. He wept alone in the gardens of Camelot.
