Background
The son of Aeson, the king of Iolcus. His given name was Diomedes, but when he was taken in by Chiron, his name was changed to Jason.
He went on many epic adventures as the captain of the Argo.
Profile 1
Height/Weight: 181cm, 76kg
Origin: Greek Mythology
Region: Greece
Alignment: Lawful-Good
Sub-Attribute: Earth
Gender: Male
"Huh? I'm a Saber? Not a Lancer or Rider?"
Profile 2
Jason demanded that Pelias, his father's half-brother, return the throne to him as the rightful heir. Pelias agreed if the Golden Fleece was brought to him.
And so, Jason built a ship and recruited adventurers throughout Greece. The ship was called the Argo, and the crew were called the Argonauts.
Profile 3
Heracles, Caenis, Atalante, Castor, Pollux, Orpheus, and other heroes assembled on board this ship, and after a great adventure, Jason managed to return with the fleece. However, along the way, he had also made Medea his wife. What a careless choice...
...The details of what happened will not be stated here. Jealousy brought forth hatred, and hatred summoned revenge.
Jason lost his position and fame, and as he tried to hang himself off the Argo, its bow fell and crushed him instead.
Profile 4
The Desired Argon Coin: None
The golden sheep's fleece that Jason obtained from his adventure. It's fluffy and has a pleasant texture.
Inspiration at Death's Door: A
When caught in a dilemma, he can act as if he's throwing his life away in order to escape.
Nobody can beat him when it comes to being quick on his feet during a crisis. However, Jason really hates this ability, since the only time inspiration reaches him is when he's placed in a dire, deadly situation.
Conquering the Sea with Friends: B++
Fills those who've sailed aboard the Argo with courage.
Encourages those who've not sailed aboard the Argo...somehow.
Let's just call it a pseudo-Charisma ability that's super limited.
Profile 5
『Astrápste Argo』
Rank: B++
NP Type: Anti-Army
Range: 1 - 10
Maximum Targets: 50
The Radiant Ship that Tears the Heavens.
Aid received from the Argo, where the heroes aboard execute a coordinated attack.
The better standing Jason has, the greater both the crew's unity and the number of attacks made.
In contrast, if he is seen as a villain, the ship will suffer from the sabotage of being "surprisingly" empty, and the Noble Phantasm's strength will drastically decrease.
Profile 6
Petty and cowardly though he may be, he retains a thirst for heroism greater than any other. But, for better or worse, he is far from a hero. However, as Medea mentioned during the battle at the Temple of Time, he does perform better the greater the pressure. In Lostbelt Atlantis, he showed the truth of this when the chips were down. As a side note, Jason and Odysseus weren't compatible with each other, since Odysseus tended to approach things rationally, while Jason only took up a challenge when he had no other alternative. In that sense, even were Jason to be summoned as a Servant, he may not be able to live the glorious life he desires. Whether he is aware of it or not, he tends to try to force himself into trouble. This is also called the "don't push...don't you DARE push!!!" phenomenon.
